Dear Library Visitors!
Taking into account the guidelines of responsible management and the requirement of environmentally conscious operation, the faculty management of ELTE Faculty of Humanities decided on limited opening hours of the building for the examination period of the autumn semester of the 2023/24 academic year and the registration period of the spring semester of the 2023/24 academic year.
Therefore, from December 18, 2023 to February 9, 2024, our libraries will be available according to the modified service order, adjusted to the opening hours of the buildings.
OPENING HOURS
Library access in building 'A' will be solved as follows:
It will be possible to read on site during working hours from Monday to Thursday: between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Institute of Hungarian Literature and Cultural Studies Toldy Ferenc Library, and the collection of borrowed books will be ensured at the Institute of Hungarian Linguistics and Finno-Ugric Studies Library.
Borrowing and on-site reading requests must always be sent to the e-mail address of the relevant library by the end of the previous working day, so that the requested books can also be transferred from libraries further away.
In any case, please wait for the library's feedback regarding the availability of books!

Apply for end-of-semester exams and the next academic semester
- You can't apply for end-of-semester exams and the next academic semester, if you have any money debt to and/or expired loan from any ELTE library.
- You can also borrow books from the ELTE libraries during the end-of-semester exams.
