A Shanghai Library 2013-ban hozta létre e-könyves adatbázisát a „Window of Shanghai” programban részt vevő partnerei részére.

Jelenleg az adatbázisban több mint tízezer könyv, 227 kézikönyv és 30 folyóirat érhető el, olyan neves bel- és külföldi kiadók kiadványai, mint a China Intercontinental Press, a Shanghai People's Publishing House, a Fudan University Press, az Anhui Children's Publishing House, a Guangdong Education Press, a Harbin Publishing House, a Hong Kong University Press, a Penguin Publishing, és a Dorling Kindersley UK.

A különböző nyelveken megjelent kiadványok számos témakört lefednek, mint irodalom, művészet, kultúra, tudomány, oktatás, sport, történelem, földrajz, nyelv, filozófia, vallás, politika, jog, közgazdaságtan, ipari technológia, környezettudomány, stb.

A könyveket a legegyszerűbb online olvasni, de a szolgáltatás e-könyv olvasó szoftverének letöltése után (Apabi Reader, a weboldal tetején jobbra fönt) a saját gépre letöltve is olvashatók.

Az adatbázis az egyetemen és otthonról is elérhető:
