Libraries during the exam period

Exam period: May 19, 2025 - July 4, 2025

IN-HOUSE USE

Students enrolled in the libraries can use the libraries during opening hours until the end of the exam period.
OPENING HOURS

LOAN

Students enrolled in libraries can borrow documents until the end of the exam period. (In most member libraries, students may not borrow documents in the Summer between the two semesters, they must be returned to the libraries no later than the last week of the examination period. Contact your library for details.)

REGISTRATION

In the member libraries of the Faculty of Humanities of the Eötvös Loránd University, enrollment is usually valid for the given academic semester. So, who has already enrolled in a library in the Spring term of AY 2024/2025, his/her membership is valid until July 4, 2025. Anyone who has not yet enrolled in the Spring term of AY 2024/2025 can still do so in person or in certain libraries online through the WebApp.

You can still access many databases subscribed to by ELTE at the campus and from home.
DATABASES AND GUIDES

FOR GARDUATING STUDENTS

Garduating students must return all borrowed books to the libraries and settle any debts before starting the Final Exam.

APPLY FOR END-OF-SEMESTER EXAMS AND THE NEXT ACADEMIC SEMESTER

You can't apply for end-of-semester exams and the next academic semester, if you have MONEY DEBT to any ELTE library and/or EXPIRED BOOK LOAN from any ELTE library.
You can loan books from ELTE libraries also during the end-of-semester exams. In particular, make sure that the loan period does not expire and that you do not owe money.
