Library of East Asian and Oriental Studies
The Library of East Asian and Oriental Studies was established by the I/2020. (I. 31.) Sen. resolution on the 31th of January, 2020, which, together with the establishment of the Faculty Library of Humanities, created seven subject libraries from the already existing institutional and departmental libraries and the Central Reading Room of the Faculty. The Library of East Asian and Oriental Studies is made up of the Institute of Est Asian Studies Library and the Institute of Oriental Studies Library. Its collection covers almost all areas of Oriental Studies.
The Library holds around 115,000 volumes of books and a large number of journals that can only be found in our Library. The collections and libraries belonging to the Library of East Asian and Oriental Studies are very dispersed, located in four different buildings (Main Building, Youth Building, Building B, Building D), which means that the Library does not have uniform opening hours and the conditions of use of the various collections vary.
