The mission of the ELTE Faculty of Humanities Libraries is to support education and research at the Faculty of Humanities, and to preserve national and universal knowledge and culture.

ELTE Faculty of Humanities Libraries collect, preserve, catalog, develop and make available the cultural heritage, knowledge and research results owned by the faculty. Our services are tailored to the needs of the users and are in continuous development. The libraries take part in community services, and prioritize providing a safe and intellectually inspiring space for the student body.

The libraries and librarians of the ELTE Faculty of Humanities Libraries are committed to quality management, closely cooperate with each other, professors, researchers and the faculty departments. By following and applying the professional trends, they provide access to the intellectual assets of the ELTE Faculty of Humanities for university citizens, and members of the national and international academic societies.
