Summer break 2024

We would like to inform our Readers that most member libraries of the Faculty of Humanities Library of Eötvös Loránd University (during the Summer break between the two semesters) will be CLOSED from Saturday, July 6, 2024, and expected to resume services in early September 2024.

In most member libraries, students may not borrow documents in the Summer between the two semesters, books must be returned to the libraries no later than the last week of the examination period.
A late fee will also be charged for library documents not returned on time during the Summer break.

RENEWAL OF MEMBERSHIP / REGISTRATION
In the member libraries of the Faculty of Humanities Library of the Eötvös Loránd University, membership is usually valid for the given academic semester or year. So, who has already registered in a library in the Spring term of AY 2023/2024, his/her membership is valid until July 6, 2024. Membership can be extended and started from September. Borrowing for the Summer is available only in urgent and well-founded cases in some of the member libraries, please contact the individual libraries for details.
